Our love of ties

With mixed emotions I hear of Leigh’s stoicism and you should be justly proud of him.

I first met Leigh in the late nineties, when he did the PR & Comms for my company New Horizons. Leigh and I developed a good friendship quite soon and I was able to introduce him to others and he me. We shared a sense of humour and some of the finer and more human things of life, despite being in the cut and thrust of nineties and then 00s business environments.  We had an ongoing tease of each others ties (worn daily at that time) and so remember us sharing stupid notes over tie fashion and quality. It was a hilarious departure from some of the more mundane things we had to talk about.

I will miss the friendship, warmth and humanity that Leigh offered. I will always remember his courtesy, inspiration and real support. He was a genuinely good bloke, stellar PR consultant and most of all a friend with a ready smile and bon viveur I will miss greatly.
